This redware vessel which was found at the northeastern Korat Plateau is an early example of theBronze Age ceramics with carved ornamental decorations.

To this day there is no chronology of these ceramics which became famous by the excavations of Ban Chiang. However they belong to the earliest fiendings of the Bronze Age in South-East Asia.

The state of preservation of this vessel is perfect without cracks or damages. The vessel must have lain in limy earth for a long time. The whitish sediments were not detached.
