This pedestral based flat redware vessel with traces of glaze comes from the transition time from the early Bronze Age time to the classical Ban Chiang culture of the Korat plateau in the northeastern part of Thailand. Although there is no final chronology it seems acceptable to date this piece to the period 1500 B. C. to 1200 B.C.
