1926 a nearly identical tablet of red clay was found in the ruin "E" of Mingalezedi, Pagan.The Mon language inscription "Ye dhamma hetaprabhara..." means

The Buddha hath the causes told of all things springing from causes: It is the Mighty Monk proclaimes.

The technique of making this kind of votive tablets from mould impression on wet clay hardened in the sun is known all over the Buddhist culture from India to China.
